I met Molly Welch-Marahar working on another project and I was fascinated and we had such a great conversation and determined that we had a lot in common.
Molly s a person in long-term recovery from intravenous heroin and cocaine addiction. She has been homeless, in jail and hospitalized because of her disease, and these experiences have instilled in her a passion to advocate with and for others like her, most of whom don’t have access to adequate long-term, abstinence based treatment. She is now a mother, a partner, a daughter, a friend and a mentor. Molly is also a graduate student at the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy where she is pursuing a career in advocacy and scholarship. Molly is currently employed as a Recovery Support Specialist for Dawn Farm, a treatment center for those suffering from alcoholism and addiction, where she can stay close to people like her. Molly’s life mission is to work to liberate addicted people from a cycle of marginalization perpetuated by the political economy of pharmaceuticals.

From the first time I read one of John Pavlovitz's pieces about the pro-life debate, I knew I needed to know him because he's an incredible human being that gets it. He says the hard things in a poignant fashion and is a weaver of words. I decided he would be my mentor, whether he knew it or not! It is great to walk and work shoulder to shoulder with someone like him who is affirming and inclusive all while he's able to speak up and out about the very things that pull darkness over us.

I still have yet to meet sweet Rachel Phillips. She is a beautiful soul and I look forward to connecting in real life. Rachel is a mom, wife, daughter, aunt, but most of all a treasured child of God. Her background is in massage therapy and yoga. In her free time she reads and listens to anything to do with neuroscience and genetics. She is very motivated to do the work internally with a counselor, whether she has a diagnoses of a mental disorder or not. Labels don't define her, love does. Passing on the love and healing to the next generation motivates her to keep digging deep.

Kerry Connelly is a soul sister from another mister. We have yet to meet, but I have a feeling we will...soon. The Divine allowed our paths to cross several weeks ago as we were on a call learning about an organization called Brand New Congress. I asked a question and voiced a concern or two and then several speakers later she spoke up and I interrupted the call to say, "BNC, please connect us!" And they did and here we are.
Kerry Connelly is a Certified Christian Life Coach and Human Behavior Specialist with over 25 years experience in corporate, non-profit and entrepreneurship. She writes a popular blog called Jerseygirl, Jesus and in January of 2016, she founded DoveWriters, the Christian Writer's Incubator. Kerry is a successful business consultant who specializes in strategic operations through her company Vision to Mission, and was recently named a finalist as a New Jersey Leading Women Entrepreneur.

I connected with Morgan Day Cecil in person about three or four years ago at the annual, global dōTERRA essential oil convention in Salt Lake City, UT. It was love at first sight! She's amazingly strong and free.
Morgan is a mother, wife, yogi, Italy lover and advocate for feminine wholeness. She is an Embodiment Coach, but what she really enjoys doing and is passionate about is help spiritually passionate women create lives of true romance and meaningful adventure. Morgan teaches them how to Breathe with Love and find their way back to their own hidden wholeness. Through coaching and workshops and online courses she gives women the tools to access their essential feminine wisdom and presence, so that they can heal the wounds that have kept them unfulfilled. She leads retreats around the world (returning to Italy again and again because --- Italy!) and she holds space in the Sophia Sessions for other women to learn, grow and be encouraged on this path of feminine wholeness.

I met Stephanie Moors years ago through mutual friends. She's what people call a "lifer" and we've lived life alongside one another through the highs and lows. Stephanie lives in Phoenix and is the mama to three incredible human beings. She is a 500 hr yoga instructor, a podcaster, a love activist and a photographer. Although she does not use the term 'Christian' to define herself, she co-founded a yoga movement that advocates for the Way of Jesus in a beautiful, questioning world and she wholeheartedly believes that everyone deserves to belong.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Erica Spiegelman about all things recovery and her amazing book,Rewired: A Bold New Approach to Addiction & Recovery. When I'm in LA next, I'll make sure to spend time with her as we can talk for hours.
In April 2015, Erica published Rewired: A Bold New Approach to Addiction & Recovery, which offers a completely new treatment modality focused on how individuals can rewire their brains, change their behavior, and bring about positive change in their lives. Praised by experts in the field, Rewired debuted as Amazon’s number one new release among drug and alcohol addiction books.
Through her work, writing, and media appearances, Erica is dedicated to touching and changing as many lives as possible.
